My children had a great experience with Coastal Kids Dental and Braces. Their visit was timely and fast. The location is so convenient and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable!

This is a review about the hygienist. Her name was Danielle. I have never been to a dentist for any of my children or me, to where a hygienist explained every single thing that she was doing, How things work (brushing etc) showing my son why he needs to do certain things, EVERYTHING! She was absolutely wonderful. Any others have cleaned the teeth and that's all. This woman is amazing! Taught even me things that I didn't realise. So very informative. Will be trying to request her everytime!

Fast friendly and most of all my daughter loves going there

I've been going here for over a year, all 3 kids seeing them. We had no issues until last week, and yesterday. I called the office manager and she swiftly took care of our issues and checked in on us at our apt today. I highly recommend them bc they can fit you in soon and make adjustments. We now have an issue with our pharmacy that I'll have to contact the dentist about tomorrow but that is not their fault. I had 2 minor bad experiences over the phone but the office manager fixed everything for us today. I will not deduct stars for the minor issues. This review is for the understanding office manager, call her if you have any issues.

Its been awhile since we've been in the dental office but a few of the ladies this morning made our visit very pleasant. I can't remember her name but the young lady that took my daughter's X-rays was so super patient and really took the time to make her feel comfortable. I didn't have to intervene at all and that's a plus for me. The hygienist that cleaned my daughter's teeth was so super sweet and made my 5yr old daughter Aniyah so comfortable while she cleaned her teeth. Mrs. Rochelle kept me company while I waited for my daughter to be examined, and the icing on the cake was Ms. Margaret at check out. She explained my daughter's dental plan to me and was very thorough. She also did me a huge favor by scheduling my daughter's next cleaning and scheduling my other two kids cleaning appointments as well. Having 3 kids I was so grateful for her going the extra mile. Ms. Margaret was just a doll to conversate with and just really made my morning. I appreciate everyone that took care of us this morning and made our visit a pleasant one. In my book the Mount Pleasant office is "THE BEST". We appreciate you all 😘.

The place is very well decorated for children, the service was quick and the staff very friendly. The doctor explained to us in detail about the condition of my children's teeth and she made recommendations. The children came out happy with their tooth souvenir kit.

They were so patient with my autistic son during his visit knowing how he is when he visit. They worked together to do the best they could to clean his teeth and get x-rays. I'm glad I found such a wonderful dentist office for him. I appreciate them so much.

Title: Fantastic Experience for Young Ones at the Dentist! Review: My 3-year-old daughter, El, recently had her dental visit at this office K, and I couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional care provided by Shannon, the dental technician, and Dr. Bubba. Shannon was amazing - fast, gentle, kind, and incredibly friendly. She made El feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Bubba was also fantastic - very quick, helpful, and his friendly demeanor put El at ease immediately. What impressed me the most was the way they engaged with El. She was able to pick out a new toothbrush and a prize, which made her extremely happy. She left the clinic with a big smile on her face and even said she wanted to go back just a few days later - now that's a testament to a great experience! I highly recommend this dental clinic for children. The staff's kindness, professionalism, and ability to make the experience enjoyable for kids are truly commendable. Thank you to Shannon, Dr. Bubba, and the whole team for taking such good care of El. We'll definitely be back for future appointments!

This facility is awesome! My son had a last minute dental issue and they were able to see him the same day and they gladly solved his problem.

I brought a wild one year old in for her first ever dentist appointment. The lovely staff here did everything they could to help keep her happy; from the lobby to the chair.

My son is the most finicky kid when it comes to dentists because of a bad experience he had at an office in Florence, SC where he was bullied, called a baby, and threatened with shots by adults to keep still during a filling. Since moving here, I have been so appreciative of the staff here and impressed with the way they speak to the kids, explain procedures to me, make certain that I understand and are just overall great people! We’ve had a number of appointments over the past year and I couldn’t sing their praises enough. My son always leaves feeling confident and happy. Our appointment today, he was happy he made the dentist and the dental assistant laugh! I love the feeling of trusting my son’s care to a professional and if you’ve EVER had a bad dental experience, this is the place to restore all faith in pediatric dentistry. The staff is too amazing!

I never leave reviews, but I was truly amazed at the skill and kindness of the dentists and staff at this facility. I could list a million examples just based on our last appointment, but a big stand out...my daughter has severe anxiety. She and my son were scheduled for fillings. Not only did Dr. Sarah take nearly 40 minutes to explain and offer me options for my daughter when her case became complicated, but she also mid-filling prep for my son, looked up at me and said, "Mom do you want to go take Hallie up front for a prize?" I was initially confused but she had "the look" so I follow suit. I looked behind me as we walked out and she pulled out the big novocaine synringe to use for my son. My son was literally giggling through the whole procedure(he literally never knew he got novacaine between the laughing gas and topical anesthetic) as she "zapped sugar bugs", and the fact that she could orchestrate that level of distraction for him, perform fillings, AND think about my daughter's mental health as she was sitting in the corner of the room...SO thoughtful. The hygienist was equally incredible. She had us all cracking up the whole time we were there. We will be forever patients.

Update: They really went above and beyond to make this incident right - the office reached out to apologize and explained what admin policy changes had been made to prevent this kind of mistake in the future. They got her scheduled very quickly, and the surgery went very smoothly. Obviously I wish this hadn’t happened in the first place, but I understand mistakes and miscommunications are part of life. They really stepped up to make it right, and because of that they are still my kids’ dentists. Original: Six months ago, my daughter was seen here and the dentist said she had two cavities that needed to be treated. But when I called the office to schedule that treatment, the front desk staff insisted that the dentist hadn't recommended a treatment, they don't like the treat baby teeth, wait and see at the next check up, everything's fine, etc. I called back three times over a month, because I was so sure the dentist wanted to treat the cavities, but I was so firmly shut down I eventually accepted I was mistaken and gave up. But when we came back for her check up today we were told that because she had not been treated, she now has to undergo anesthesia to have the now much-worse off teeth removed. If they had scheduled the procedure when I asked she could have had an unmedicated, in-office procedure. I'm very torn because the doctors and staff here are all fabulous and they make the dental process pleasant and reassuring for kids. And I understand that what essentially happened here was a note-taking error. But because of that note-taking error, my child will have to go under anesthesia and have teeth pulled, which was 100% avoidable and which I tried very hard to avoid.

Loved the staff and they were great with both my girls first visit.
