JAMIE - Certified Dental Assistant

Jamie is a graduate of Trident Technical College’s Expanded Duty Dental Assisting program. She is a Charleston native and was born and raised on Sullivan’s Island. Jamie and her husband Joe are the proud parents of two boys. They enjoy having Nerf gun battles with their kids and traveling to Asheville.  Jamie also enjoys playing co-ed softball, baking, cleaning, and football season!

SHENETA - Certified Dental Assistant

Sheneta is a graduate of Trident Technical College’s Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Program. She is a native of Walterboro and currently resides in Summerville. She and her husband Travis are proud parents of a little girl who is the true joy in their life. When not playing at our office she loves to travel, shop and spend time with family.

LYNETT - Dental Assistant

Lynett is a graduate of Kaplan Career Institute’s Dental Assisting Program.  She was born and raised in Mexico where she met her husband, Dimas.  Together they have two very active girls.  The family recently moved to Mt Pleasant after living in the Pacific North West and South West.

Lynett es graduada  del programa de asistente dental  de Kaplan Career Institute.  Nació y se crio en México en donde conoció a su esposo Dimas.  Juntos tienen dos niñas muy activas.  La familia recientemente se mudo a Mount Pleasant después de haber vivido en el noroeste  y suroeste del país.

BARBARA - Dental Hygienist

Barbara grew up in Augusta Georgia where she later graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has practiced dental hygiene for the past 18 years , with the majority of those being in a pediatric practice.  Her Passion is educating not only the child, but most importantly the parent in good dental habits that will last the child a lifetime!

She resides on Daniel Island with her husband and two very active children.  They all enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.  In her spare time she mentors middle school girls in an organization her Bible study formed to empower young women.

ANGIE - Dental Hygienist

Angie was born in Greece and moved to Charleston when she was ten years old. She obtained her Dental Hygiene Degree from Trident Technical College. She is a member of The American Dental Hygienist Association and the Charleston Dental Hygienist Association. Angie is passionate about delivering personalized care, preventing dental disease, and achieving optimal oral health for all her patients. In her spare time she enjoys; going out on the boat with friends, painting, freelance photography, art shows and plays downtown.

KIM H - Dental Assistant

Kimberly has re-located to Charleston from Richmond VA.  She has been a dental assistant since 2009 and plans on continuing her education to receive her CDA.  In her spare time she enjoys shopping, going to the beach and cooking.  Kimberly is a huge Minnesota Viking's Fan and loves rooting her Va. Tech Hookie's on during football season.   She is the oldest of four children and loves spending as much time as possible with her family.  Some of her favorite things are Palm Trees, Flip Flops, Yankee Candles, Nap Time and being a part of the Clean Teeth Crew!

MELISSA C – Dental Assistant

Melissa was born and raised in SC.  She went to the Dental Assisting Training School of Mt. Pleasant.  Melissa has two children, Jeffery and Serena and her baby boy Pogo, a Chihuahua.  She loves doing anything to do with the water and outside, boating, skiing, kneeboarding, camping and a relaxing day at the beach or an exciting day at an amusement park. 

MELISSA A – Certified Dental Assistant

Melissa is a 2008 graduate of Trident Technical College’s Expanded Duty Dental Assisting program and also earned an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Technology.  She was born in Augusta, GA and moved to Hanahan at the beginning of her high school career.  She and her husband, Thomas, both have a passion for rescuing animals.  At present, they are the proud parents of a dog, Rusty, and two cats, Callie and Annabelle.  Melissa is very passionate about providing dental education for her patients as well as their families.  In her spare time, she enjoys cross stitching, reading and building sand castles on the beach.

Kim C –Dental Assistant

Kimberly is from Ashville, NC. She attended the dental assisting training school of Mount Pleasant. She loves working at Coastal Kids Dental because it gives her the opportunity to help kid’s live healthy lives and have beautiful smiles. She is the proud aunt of two adorable nephews. In 2008, Kimberly lived in Russia for six months where she volunteered and studied the Russian language. She also volunteers in Charleston. In her spare time she loves going to the beach, snowboarding and walking around historic downtown.

SHANNON - Office Manager

Shannon is a native of Virginia.  She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  She is an enthusiastic athletic fan of her alma mater.  Shannon resides in Charleston with her husband Brook, who is stationed at the Air Force Base. When not working, she and her husband enjoy spending days on the water, being active outdoors, listening to live music, traveling and serving on medical missions.

VIVIAN - Front Desk

Vivian is a native of the lowcountry and was born and raised in Walterboro and currently resides in North Charleston. She is a graduate of Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College with an Assocites in Early Childhood Development.  She and her husband Joey have 3 dogs Bee, Sasha and Brutus that they absolutely adore.  In her free time she enjoys floating and boating on the river,  shopping, Riverdogs baseball,  college football “Go Gamecocks”, jewelry antiquing and spending time with her family and friends! 

JESSICA - Patient check out

Jessica is a 2009 graduate of Charleston Southern University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and a minor in Spanish. She resides in Hanahan with her two dogs, Spencer a Border Collie, and Toby a Basset Hound. In her spare time Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach as much as possible.

MARTHA - Patient check out

Martha was born and raised in Atlanta and recently moved to Charleston last year.  She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design.  She just moved downtown and enjoys living so close to the beach.  In her free time Martha enjoys going on boat trips, traveling, doing freelance design, cheering on Georgia Tech football, and sewing.

LATISHA - Scheduling Coordinator

Latisha was raised in Puerto Rico and relocated to the United States in 1997. She moved to North Charleston in October 2009. In June 2007 she graduated from DeVry University-Fort Washington, PA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems.  She currently attends Strayer University and anticipates graduating in the fall of 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration –Accounting. In her spare time she loves to cook, dance, and spend time with her daughter. 

Latisha se crió en Puerto Rico y se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1997. Se mudó a North Charleston, en octubre de 2009. En junio de 2007 se graduó de la Universidad DeVry-Fort Washington, PA con una Licenciatura en Sistemas de Información Empresarial. Actualmente asiste a la Universidad de Strayer y espera graduarse en el otoño de 2011 con una Maestría en Administración de Empresas, Contabilidad. En su tiempo libre le encanta cocinar, bailar y pasar tiempo con su hija.

MR TOOTH - Mascot

My name is Mr Tooth and I joined the CKD&B team in October of 2009.   I am from the Dominican Republic and I have been all around the country doing children’s carnivals, festivals, and fairs. I am glad to have finally found my home with Coastal Kids Dental & Braces in Charleston, SC where the people are friendly and the weather is warm.  Aside from my love of brushing and flossing, I enjoy spending time teaching children how to care for their teeth and educating the public on proper oral care.  You can find me at most CKD&B events with the staff.  I love to take pictures with all of the kids so come on over and give me a hug next time I’m out!
