New Pediatric Dental Office Giving Kids and Parents Something to Smile About

CHARLESTON, SC, October 5, 2009 – If you’re a parent, you know getting your kids to go to the dentist can be like pulling teeth. Now, there’s a new dental practice in Hanahan that’s putting smiles on the face of kids all across the Lowcountry.

It’s called Coastal Kids Dental, and it’s located off N. Rhett Blvd in Tanner Plantation at 1000 Tanner Ford Blvd Hanahan, SC. Coastal Kids Dental specializes in children ages 1 to 18 and special needs individuals of all ages. Dr. Isabel Driggers combines her skill and knowledge as a pediatric dentist with her experience as a mother to provide her patients with a fun and comfortable environment for dental care. Her goal is to provide each patient with a healthy adult smile. To achieve that goal, Dr. Isabel advocates and practices early intervention and consistent monitoring of growth and development enabling her patients to experience a lifetime of dental health.

Dr. Isabel states, “I’m very excited about opening a pediatric dental practice in the Charleston area. I’ve enjoyed attending dental school and working in Charleston, and now I look forward to serving the pediatric dental needs of children in this area. About Dr Isabel
Isabel Ghowanlu Driggers grew up in Spartanburg, SC. She attended Wofford College, where she studied Chemistry and German and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then moved to Charleston and earned her DMD degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. After a few years in private practice, Dr. Isabel furthered her dental education by completing a 2 year residency in pediatric dentistry at University of Louisville, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Isabel is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentist (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA) and the South Carolina Dental Association. She is licensed to practice dentistry in the states of South Carolina, Georgia & Kentucky.
