About Dr. Isabel

Isabel Ghowanlu Driggers grew up in Spartanburg, SC and was raised by a Persian father and German mother. 

She attended Wofford College, where she studied Chemistry and German and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She then moved to Charleston and earned her DMD degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.  After a few years in private practice, Dr. Isabel furthered her dental education by completing a 2 year residency in pediatric dentistry at University of Louisville, where she served as chief resident. 

Dr. Isabel is a member of the medical staff at Trident Medical Center.  This enables Dr. Isabel to provide Hospital treatment to patients who require General Anesthesia (Hospital Dentistry).

Beyond being an accomplished dentist, Dr. Isabel is also the mother of two young children. Being a mother gives her a parental perspective, which helps her create a comfortable experience for children during their dental visits.

In her free time, Dr. Isabel enjoys reading, cooking, running/exercising with her husband Jacob, water sports, and spending time with her kids, Corbin and Palmer.
