Re: Daniel Island Fire update – March 4th, 2011
On Wednesday afternoon, March 2nd, we were able to visit the Daniel Island office and assess our damage from the fire. Since we are a 100% paperless office, there was no concern on the safety of our patient records or charts, as they are backed up off-site. Our losses were mostly limited to equipment and other items that can’t be sterilized.
Since Tuesday morning, when learning of the fire, we have been working to determine the best course of action to reopen our office on the Island as soon as possible. As we work through our options, we will be sure to communicate with our patients and the Daniel Island community on our progress.
In the short term we are working to contact and reschedule our Daniel Island patients in our main office in Hanahan. Our main office in Hanahan is 9 miles from our Daniel Island office, off of N. Rhett Ave. If you have an appointment scheduled we will be contacting you to reschedule your appointment to a time convenient to you in our Hanahan office.
We would like to thank our patients and the Daniel Island community for the outpouring of concern and the many offers to help get Coastal Kids Dental back up and running on Daniel Island.
Thank you,
Coastal Kids Dental
