Dr. Kjersti Damsker, DMD, joins Coastal Kids Dental as the newest member to their team

Dr. Kjersti’s love for children and passion for children’s oral health make her the perfect addition to the Coastal Kids Dental team

CHARLESTON, SC – August 23, 2010 –Coastal Kids Dental welcomes Dr. Kjersti Damsker, DMD, as the newest member to the CKD team.  Dr. Kjersti will begin seeing patients at Coastal Kids Dental in late August 2010.

“We are looking forward to the addition of Dr. Kjersti to Coastal Kids Dental,” says Dr. Isabel Driggers, lead Pediatric Dentist at Coastal Kids Dental, “Dr. Kjersti’s experiences gained while working in practices in the United States, England and Norway enable her to bring a unique skill set to our patients.  From the moment you meet Dr. Kjersti you can see her love for children and ability to communicate well with their parents.  Since Coastal Kids Dental sees patients through young adulthood, her knowledge and experience as a General Dentist enables Coastal Kids Dental to provide quality dental care to the “big kids” of our practice.”

Dr. Kjersti is from a small town in Norway.  She attended the University of Oslo, where she received her Candidata Odontologiae (Dental Surgeon) degree. After graduation she practiced general dentistry in Norway and England before moving to the United States.  Dr. Kjersti earned her DMD degree from Boston University where she graduated with high honors and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon – the Dental Honor Society.  Dr. Kjersti is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and several state and local dental societies.
